Rogoznica is located on a peninsula, which was originally the small island of Kopara, later connected to the mainland by an artificial embankment.

Rogoznica is also popular among sailors, as Marina Frapa is known not only as one of the most beautiful but also as the safest harbor on this part of the Adriatic. The beaches in Rogoznica are pebbly, with some rocky areas as well. Since fishing has traditionally been the main occupation of the locals, you will certainly not lack fresh fish. A special local delicacy is the Rogoznica “brudet.”
